The Association is organized on National, State and Zonal Basis across Nigeria. Just for the record, as at March 2008, there are 30 state branches, 8 of which are not active. In addition, each State branch has a peculiar flag which it flies in the parade of states during the opening ceremonies of Annual Scientific Conferences.
Many States are very active, engaging in activities such as:
• Production of Newsletter
• Production of almanac
• Group Renewal of various licenses for their members
• Continuing professional development lectures
• Advocacy for favorable private practice environment
• End of year get-together for members, their spouses and children
